The Smithereens is a New Jersey-based American Rock group that has been active since 1980.
Thus far, they have charted 2 hits onto the Billboard Top-40 Charts.
In 1989, the single “A Girl Like You” reached #38 on the Billboard Charts.
In 1992, the single “Too much Passion” reached #37 on the Billboard Charts.
Starting in 1989, the group has charted 5 singles onto the Top-40 of the Billboard Rock Charts.
To date, the group has released 9 Studio Albums.
The group is currently comprised of:
Pat DiNizio – Vocals, Guitar
Jim Babjak – Vocals, Guitar
Servero Jornacion – Bass
Dennis Diken – Drums
The group is still active and is due to release a new album in 2010.
